1. How big can my embroidery design be ?

There is a limitation on size the embroidery equipment can accommodate. Maximum size for a garment (T-shirt / Polo Shirt / Jacket etc) is 200mm x 300mm but typically most logo designs are no more than 100mm x 100mm in size. Larger designs cost more to stitch as they use more materials and take more time. Maximum size for a Baseball Cap design is 130mm x 50mm.

2. How many colours can my design have ?

Typically, most intricate designs use no more than 10 colours but this really depends on the design and the colours needed. There are literally thousands of colours possible but the more colour changes there are the more complex the design and the longer it can take. We try to keep the colour count as small as possible without compromising the design. When we send you 3D rendering of the design will will let you know the stitch count and also the number of colours used. This is not something you need to worry about. our designer will make sure the design meets your needs.

3. I have a special font for letting I have to use can you support this ?

This is usually no problem. Most embroidery machines have a set of preset fonts which are very limited. We have special software which lets us use any computer font and converts this into a embroidery design for each letter. Just let us know the font name, we probably have it already and if not we can get it.

4. How long does it take to get my order ?

This depends on the size of the order and current production workload. A lead time will be stated on your proposal, we always do our best to improve on this. You can always enquire about your order at any time by sending us a message from the contact page.

5. How big can letters be ?

There is no real limit in the upper size (As long as it fits within the design limits we have see question 1). But small text becomes unreadable when it gets below 5mm in height, (this can also depend on the font used). The letters tend to merge together and become blobs as there is a finite size to the stitches. Our designer will be able to see if there will be any problems when we run your design through the stitching simulator. If you artwork has a logo with very small text we may need to remove this or enlarge it to make the design work.

6. I need a logo design, do you charge a design fee ?

We will come up with a proposal for a logo for your company or organization and province a 3D embroidery picture for you. If you like the design then we can use this design. These is no fee for this service but we reserve the right to stop the process if the designs we propose are constantly rejected or if the changes become to involved. Remember, we do this for free before any order is placed.

7. I already have a digital embroidery file can you use this ?

In principle yes, but we need to look at it to make sure it is compatible with our system or check we can convert it for use with our system. files with the PHC extension are normally OK and we can take almost any other embroidery file and convert it to this format, but we need to check it first. We will provide a 3D rendering of your file from our stitching simulator before we go ahead.

8. Can I change my order once I have given the OK

This depends on timing, we will work with you on this if we can. Please understand these are custom orders, once a garment has been stitched there is no way to undo it and we cannot sell it to anyone else. If we are in the middle of your order then we can discuss cancellation of the balance of the order but items completed up to that point you have to accept. There will be a cancellation fee assessed (which depends on the order size - as qty discounts may have been applied in your quotation). For any orders placed with payment made but not started yet there will be a 10% cancellation fee.

9. I have my own garment(s) to be embroidered can you do this ?

In principle yes, but we need to understand your requirements fully before we proceed. If you have such a request please contact us using the contact page letting us know the type of garment / quantity / timeframes etc and we will get back to you.

10. I don't have any artwork to send, what do I do ?

First thing to do is not worry :). We can take almost anything. If your company has a website with a logo on there somewhere then just send us the link to the website, if you have a business card scan it or take a picture of it with a digital camera and send it to us. Or if your company has no logo, or your need a special design for an occasion (birthday / anniversary etc) just describe (in words) what you want in the quotation form and we will take it from there. Don't be shy - if your project is has an adult theme and or uses strong language we will accommodate you and everything is always confidential.
